What to Expect

What to Expect 〰️
If you thought "La vie en rose" was just a song, think again! Dinard is where it comes to life, pink is everywhere.
From the vibrant flowers to the jumps, it’s like stepping into a pastel dream. But pink isn’t the only thing that defines this beautiful show. Dinard beautifully blends tradition with elegance, and every detail just feels… Well, pretty.
The atmosphere is one you won’t find anywhere else. In Dinard, you're sitting side-by-side with passionate horsemen and friendly locals, creating a sense of community that you have to experience for yourself. It’s part of the charm, part of the tradition!
Where to stay
〰️
Where to stay 〰️
We stayed at a cozy bed and breakfast just a short distance from the show, and let us tell you—it was the best decision we could have made.
The people of Brittany are incredibly warm and welcoming, always making sure you feel right at home. They really want you to enjoy your time there, and you can feel that warmth in everything they do. If you’re looking for the full experience of the region, we highly recommend staying in a local B&B near the show. There are lots of hotel options aswell, however they are a lot pricier !

If you’re looking for a hotel experience, here are some recommendations from the show itself. Make your bookings really, as room go fast !

Description We didn’t rent a car since we were staying within walking distance of the show, but if you’re staying in downtown Dinard, walking might not be the most convenient option.
If you stay a bit farther away, we recommend using local transportation options like buses or taxis and Uber. Fun fact, there are very few Ubers in the region, so expect to see the same driver all weekend !
-
Please, don’t make the same mistake we did! We only spent one evening in Dinard's city center, and honestly, it wasn’t enough. This charming little coastal town is worth so much more of your time. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to linger in, enjoying the food, the views, and the overall vibe.
Psst Olivia still dreams about the ice cream she had at Les Vents de Vanille.

It will be warm so make sure to pack some light summer clothes ! However, this is Brittany so don’t forget your raincoat, you’ll need it wen you least expect it.
Food
〰️
Food 〰️
We’re in Brittany, so it goes without saying: we ate Galettes Bretonnes (the region’s delicious crepes) all weekend long. Honestly, it was one of the biggest food highlights for us. Of course, you can find classic French baguettes, salads, Charcuterie platters, but let’s be real—we were there for the crepes! Whether savory or sweet, they’re an absolute must-try.
After the classes, we’d often head to the bar to unwind with a delicious charcuterie and cheese board, paired with a glass of wine. After all, we’re in France!
